Provided by the Pennsylvania Branch of The International Dyslexia Association (PBIDA), this simulation will provide insight into dyslexia and how it feels to be dyslexic.
 
The simulation begins with a brief discussion of dyslexia including its neurological basis and demographics.  Participants will learn about the interventions that are supported by solid research and how they have a positive impact on individuals with dyslexia.  Participants then participate in a series of simulated activities that mimic the experiences and processing of those with dyslexia.

Date and Time: Thursday, September 26th, 2024 at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30pm. Simulation begins at 6pm. 
In-person only event: Center School Campus, 2450 Hamilton Avenue, Abington, 19001.
